Consultant Engagement Offerings for SEPAC Development

A Special Education Parent Advisory Council is part of the special education law in Indiana. IAC 7-36-1 encourages a public agency to establish or support the establishment of a parent advisory council. Goals may include (but not limited to) supporting student and family membership in the school community, inviting parents of students with disabilities to participate in school decision making and fostering effective communication with families focused on student learning and development. Coolabilities offers custom fit consulting services to assist local education agencies in creating, launching and maintaining a council.
